John Wick: Chapter 4 (Behind The Scenes Part 7)
John Wick: Chapter 4 is the culmination of an almost nine-hour story about the very sad and very violent life of its title character, a former hitman who just wanted to live a humble life with his puppy dammit, but cannot seem to escape his past as a killer for hire. And most of those nine hours have involved action scenes of every imaginable kind: Hand-to-hand combat, shootouts, sword battles, knife fights, along with chases on motorcycles, cars, and even horseback. How do you bring all of that to a close and top what you’ve done before, all at once?

Walter March, the guy in the documentary who says Pacino doesn’t look like the Michael in the books is an idiot. Michael is described as having dark straight hair and olive skin. Michael is not manly looking, and in the book, it states that the Godfather was worried when Michael was a teenager that he might be gay. It is Carlo Rizzi who is tall, blond, and muscular.

If we are doing an actual inventory of deaths, I would have to add that the character John Rambo, after commandeering the troop transport truck with the M-60s in cargo, sideswiped those Jerkwater deputies into a parked car, which definitely looked fatal.

Every time i find myself alone in the house. When husband is traveling and my son is alseep i pour myself a glass of wine and watch this movie. My polish family survied the war. My great grandad was in Anders army and his family from Dabrowka szczepanowska near Tarnow helped a lot of Jewish people. They would provide food to jewish family hiding in the woods in hole in the grand for 2 years. During one night germans were selecting young woman from the village, my grandmother and her sister run away in their night dresses to the woods in snow ( it was January). My grandmother while running stuked her foot in the animal trap and injured it badly. Both were found in the woods by their parents next day. Somehow they survived this horrible night in the freezing.

Tarantino is a genius. His work doesn't fit into any genre. He created his own. He is so enthusiastic about film and it shows in this interview. I am sixty-six and not in the best of health. When I am having a bad day ((night) I put on a Tarantino film. His originality, unpredictability, humour are a panacea. Thank you for uploading this. 👍

What is not remembered about Claus von Stauffenberg is the fact that he has earlier enthusiastically welcomed Hitler's appointment as Chancellor in 1933 and approved most of his policies. When the war broke out, he served as an officer in the German army's invasion of Poland, France and other campaigns. Regarding Poland, he described Poles as 'an unbelievable rabble' of 'Jews and mongrels' who were 'only comfortable under the knout'. He advocated for the systematic colonization of occupied Poland by Germans. To him, Poles were a bunch of sub-humans that should be only treated as slaves. There are proofs that he hasn't liked mass executions during invasion and occupation, yet he wasn't against general oppression. The only reason why Stauffenberg and most of his fellow conspirators turned on Hitler, whom they have ardently supported until 1943, was because they felt that the war was going badly. Stalingrad and other failures in both fronts convinced them that if they won't do something drastic, like assassinating Hitler and replacing him with a different leader, newly acquired territories in the East and everything they have stolen could be lost. The fact that modern Germany considers Stauffenberg a national "hero" is appalling and disturbing to say the least. German apologists go to great lengths to point out how he hasn't shown as much hatred towards Jews as many other Germans and Austrians at that time (he still despised them and seen as worse than ethnically or culturally Germanic people, just wasn't so strong about it and rather wasn't for their complete physical elimination); forgetting that what he lacked in anti-Semitism comparing to others, he was making up with equal or even bigger level of anti-Slavism (he wasn't for eradicating all of them neither, but seen in Slavs nothing more than potential slaves). The conspirators' plan was to end the fight on two fronts and make peace with "the West", even at the cost of giving up many territories obtained during the war (III German Reich's western border would return to that of 1939); but it was to focus only on the eastern front, and they haven't wanted to withdraw from the occupied countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Beside recognizing the stupidity of fighting on two fronts at the same time, they also rightfully blamed Hitler and his close circle for many strategic mistakes. PS Claus von Stauffenberg was approached by some German officers who were more truly against Nazism, war and Hitler first time already in 1939 and again in 1940, but then Germany was winning, so he had no interest in joining them (although at least as a plus he hasn't denounced them).
